Martin Sheen tapped as new 'Uncle Ben'

According to our friends at EW, Martin Sheen has been named the new Uncle Ben in  the 2012 reboot of the Spider-Man film franchise.  No word on whether he will be paid in un-sticky white rice.  The role had previously been played by Cliff Robertson.
